Student-Athletes of the Week (April 21st-27th, 2025): Rachel Rife and Cole Bishop

Female Student-Athlete of the Week

We award the Female Student-Athlete of the Week to softball player Rachel Rife who put up huge numbers to help lead the Lady Eagles to a four-game road sweep at Grace Christian University in Michigan. 

In the four victories, the left fielder batted .571 (8-14) and drove in 8 runs. In addition, she also scored 11 runs, had 2 doubles, walked 3 times, and stole 1 base.

Rife also blasted 3 home runs, while achieving a very unusual feat in game three. In that big win, she pounded 2 homers in the SAME INNING!

The Lady Eagles are currently 24-14 on the season.

Male Student-Athlete of the Week

We award the Male Student-Athlete of the Week to baseball player Cole Bishop, who put up impressive numbers in a four-game series at Grace Christian University in Michigan.

In the four games, the first baseman helped the Eagles gain a split, as he batted .500 (7-14), and drove in 8 runs. In addition, he scored 4 runs, and blasted 4 huge homeruns.

The Eagles are currently 24-21 on the season.
