Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles Soccer Travels to Harrodsburg

Harrodsburg, KY: On Monday, September 16th, the Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles made the trip to central Kentucky to battle the Campbellsville-Harrodsburg Pioneers in soccer action. The visitors would battle well before eventually succumbing, 7-0.

The contest remained scoreless for the first twelve minutes before CHU connected to break the ice (1-0). They would spread out a pair of goals the remainder of the half, and head into intermission hanging on to a 3-0 advantage.

In the second half, the Lady Eagles continued to put up the good fight as they refused to go away.  Harrodsburg did manage a pair of scores to add to their lead (5-0) before two late goals from the Pioneer club made the score 7-0 just before the final horn blew.

On the day, the hosts fired 50 shots compared to the Pippa Passes crew with 4, and led in corner kicks 7-1. These numbers were difficult to overtake.

Pippa Passes goalie Haylie Patrick did register 16 saves., while ALC committed just 1 offsides, compared to the Trailblazers 6.

The Lady Eagles (0-3) return to action on Thursday, September 16^th, when they travel to Circleville, Ohio to face the Ohio Christian University Trailblazers. Game time is set for 1:00pm.
