Juan Lander enters his 5th season in 2025-26 as the head coach of the men’s and women’s soccer programs at Alice Lloyd College, first taking the job in 2021 when the Eagles launched varsity soccer and tabbed him as co-founding head coach. Before moving to the touchline full-time, he served the athletics department as an assistant in baseball and men’s basketball.
His most wins recorded in a season came in 2024, when the Eagles finished 8-8-1 overall (4-1 River States Conference). That fall, he also steered the squad to the NCCAA Mid-East Region championship match, a first for the fledgling program. Lander has already coached two NCCAA All-Region selections—forward Jackson Moore and midfielder Trevor Camden—in just three varsity campaigns.
Along with his responsibilities on Caney Creek, Lander serves the following campus roles as Student Insurance Director and Assistant Coach in baseball.
A proud ALC alumnus, Lander continues to make his home in Pippa Passes, Kentucky, where he is helping build a soccer tradition for future Eagles to follow.
