Alice Lloyd's Arin Rife named NCCAA National Student-Athlete of the week for Softball

Freshman Arin Rife was dominant on the mound for Alice Lloyd College this past week, allowing just one earned run in 32 innings of work. She went 2-1 on the week, pitching in four games while striking out 32 batters. In her two wins over Union College (KY) and Bluefield State University she totaled 24 strikeouts while allowing just three hits. The native of Grundy, Virginia was also outstanding at the plate, leading Alice Lloyd with a .588 average and 10 hits.
