Alice Lloyd's Ben Soumahoro named NCCAA First Team Basketball All-American

2025 DI Men's Basketball All-Americans Released

Greenville, SC – The 2025 NCCAA Division I Men's Basketball All-Americans have been announced. Ian Scott of Grace College earned the 2025 National Player of the Year. Scott Moore of Grace College was named the 2025 Coach of the Year. The full list of award winners can be found at the DI Men's Basketball awards page here.

Ian Scott did it all for Grace College this season, ranking top 15 in the NCCAA in points, rebounds, assists, field goal percentage, and blocks. The senior from Plainfield, Indiana shot 63.2% on the year to lead the Lancers to an NAIA National Championship Quarterfinal a year after their semifinal run. In 2023-24, Scott came off the bench to average 10.4 points per game and 6.4 rebounds per game. In 2025 as a starter, Scott averaged eight more points per game and two more rebounds per game to lead the Lancers in both categories. 

For Alice Lloyd College, Ben Soumahoro was selected to the First Team Squad, moving up from a Third Team selection last season. The senior forward from Lawrenceville, Georgia led Alice Lloyd (KY) to a 20-10 record and #8 NCCAA Ranking . For the year, he averaged 16.3 points per game on 55.8% field goal shooting, 7.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists. He also led the team in both blocks and steals. He was named first team All Conference by the River States coaches, and voted Mideast Region Player of the Year in the NCCAA.  Additionally, he finished in the top five in the league in both rebounds and field goal percentage, and was 13th in scoring.
