Student-Athletes of the Week (March 24th- March 30th, 2025) Rachel Rife and Diego Rodriguez

Female Athlete of the Week 

We award the Female Athlete of the Week to softball player Rachel Rife.

Rife was solid as she helped lead the squad to a 3-1 week.

In a pair of wins against Berea College and a split against the University of Pikeville, she batted .545 (6-11) while scoring 8 runs, rapping 2 doubles, and driving in 2 runs.

The Lady Eagles record now sits at 15-11.  

Male Athlete of the Week

We award the Male Athlete of the Week to baseball player Diego Rodriguez.

 Rodriguez was steady at the plate for the Eagles as they went 2-4 on the week.

In a split with Wilberforce University and a single victory against Ohio Christian University, he batted .500 (10-20) while scoring 6 runs, rapped 3 doubles and 1 triple, made 4 steals, and drove in 4 runs.

The Eagles record now sits at 16-11.
