Female Athlete of the Week

We award the Female Athlete of the Week to softball player Maleigh McDaniel.

McDaniel was dominant on the mound in leading the Lady Eagles to an impressive victory over Ohio Christian University.  In her squads 2-0 shutout victory, the veteran pitched a three-hit shutout. She faced just 24 batters on the day, striking out 3 Trailblazers, and issuing 0 walks.

The Lady Eagles record now sits at 20-14. 

Male Athlete of the Week

We award the Male Athlete of the Week to track and field athlete Nikolas Chasteen.

At the Certre College Twilight, held in Danville, Kentucky, the speedster appeared in two track events, performing impressively well in both. First, in the 100m dash, he finished in 3rd place with his time of 10:82 sec. Next, he raced in the 200m dash, where he delivered a solid time of 22.53 sec. This was good enough to earn him 4th place.
