We award the male Student-Athlete of the Week honor to Eagle basketball player Jackson Tackett.

In a tough 101-69 defeat at Indiana University Kokomo, Tackett connected on 7-9 field goals, including 2-2 from long range, to contribute 16 big points. He also added 5 rebounds and 1 steal to the cause.

The Logan (WV) native followed that up in the 99-73 loss at #1 Saint Mary of the Woods by chipping in 9 points, 2 boards, 1 assist and 1 steal. For the week, he averaged 12.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1 steal while sinking 67% from the field.

The Eagles are currently 10-9 on the season.
