Alice Lloyd Golf Participates in RSC Fall Preview
Daniels, WV: The Alice Lloyd College men's golf team traveled to the Mountaineer State on October 2nd- 3rd to play in the River States Conference Fall Preview held at the Resort at Glade Springs.
Twelve squads and 66 individuals took to the links. At the conclusion, Indiana University East won in a playoff. Alice Lloyd would finish 11th for the 36-hole event.
The Eagles were all within a few strokes of each other. They were led by Jason Price, who shot 80-84 for a 164. He finished in a tie for 38th place. Caleb Leonard fired a 77-88 for a total of 165. This earned him a tie for 42nd.
Ethan Rich, whose two-day total of 167 (81-86) tied him at 48th, and Dillion Fields, who fired 86-82 to finish with a 168 score, landed in a tie for 51st place.
Chase Petry shot an opening round of 92, but had to withdraw due to injury.
The RSC Men's Golf Fall Preview was a precursor to the RSC Championship to be held at the same course in spring 2024.
Next up for the Eagles golf team is the Atomic City Classic in Oak Ridge (TN) on October 22nd.
