Alice Lloyd Eagles golf participates in the River States Conference Fall Preview
Daniels, WV: On September 30th-October 1st, the Alice Lloyd College men's golf team traveled to Daniels, West Virginia to participate in the River States Conference Fall Preview. Twelve squads and 66 men took to the links for the event which was played under overcast skies with cool temperatures.
At the conclusion of the two-day event, Midway University took top honors with Rio Grande University finishing as runner-up. ALC finished in 11th place.
Individually, the Eagles were led by Jason Price, who finished in 38th place at +20. He was followed by Caleb Leonard, who finished one stroke behind at +21. Ethan Rich was just behind him at +23 while Dillon Fields came in one stroke back at +24. Chase Petry played the first round before having to drop out the second day.
The ALC golf teams close the fall season when they host the ALC Invitational in Prestonsburg, KY, on October 28th.
