Alice Lloyd Golf participates in UPike Spring Invite

Prestonsburg, KY: On March 31st-April 1st, the Alice Lloyd College golf team traveled to Stonecrest Golf Course in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, to participate in the UPike Spring Classic. 

Six total squads took to the links for the event with 32 men signed up for action. After the last shot had been fired, ALC would settle for a 4th-place finish. The Eagles would actually enter two teams and the second group would finish in 6th-place out all teams competing.

 Individually, for the two-days, the Eagles were led by Jason Price,who played well by firing a 77-76 for a 153. This landed him in 9th-place overall.

He was followed by nice performances from Jorge Papatzikos, Chase Petry, and Carson Hanson, who all finished at 162, tied for 17th.  Ryan Cozart was three stokes back at 166.

In addition, Tanner Bolin (190), Bryson Bartley (192), Hayden King (199) and Issac Bowen (207) also battled in the event.
