Alice Lloyd Eagles Soccer earns impressive victory

Pippa Passes, KY:  On September 13th, the Alice Lloyd College Eagles played host to the Appalachian Bible Warriors (WV)in soccer action. Sparked by the one-two punch of Dylan Moore and Jensen Harbaugh, the Kentucky boys would take the 10-1 win.

ALC came out of the gates ready to play and produced the first score of the contest when Payton Tharp lined a shot into the net at 7:00 (1-0).

Moore would then come through with two goals over the next ten minutes to push the Eagles to a 3-0 advantage.

Later Harbaugh's nice shot at 24:36 made it 4-0. Then, just twenty seconds before the half, Moore reached a hat-trick as he belted his third goal of the game at 44:40. His squad would go into the locker room leading 5-0 at intermission.

In the second half, the status-quo would remain for twenty-six minutes. At this point, the Warriors would come alive with a nice goal at 71:00 to set the score 5-1. ABC (2-2) now had hopes of using that point to start a comeback.

However, ALC had something to say about that. In a span of just four minutes, Bryan Amador, Harbaugh, and Sawyer Crum proved deadly as each registered a big goal. Suddenly with 75:00 gone, the home crew led 8-1.

Over the final fifteen minutes of action, the Pippa Passes team would receive two final goals, courtesy of Harbaugh and Moore, and take the match 10-1.
