Alice Lloyd Soccer continues winning ways, defeat Welch College

Gallatin, TN:  On September 26th, the Alice Lloyd College Eagles journeyed to the Volunteer state to face the Welch College Flames in soccer action. The Kentucky boys continued their successful season by taking down the hosts, 12-2.

The Pippa Passes posse would strike quickly, scoring a pair of goals in the opening minutes of play, courtesy of Alex De Wolfe and Maddux Camden (2-0). From there, Bryan Amadore, Dylan Moore, and River Conley all hit paydirt, making the score 5-0.

Later, Issac Wallin and Luis Sarabia would would get in on the action, as each delivered a trio of scores. This raised the advantage to 11-0.

Finally, Eagle Jestin Barker pounded his own kick into the net to set the score 12-0.

The host Flames would add a pair of late scores to make things 12-2, but the horn would sound to end the festivities and hand the big win to the Caney Creek crew.

Offensively, Wallin and Serabia both scored 3 goals, while De Wolfe, Camden, Amadore, Moore, Conley, and Barker each added 1. Moore led the way with 4 assists while De Wolfe and Camden both added 2. Wallin and Miguel Flores both chipped in with 1 apiece.

The Pippa Passes posse would eventually clinch the contest with a nice 12-2 victory to run their record to 5-0-2.

The Caney Creek crew returns home on Monday for a huge afternoon showdown against the defending Mideast Regional Champions, the Boyce College Bulldogs (NCCAA Ranked #2). Action will begin at 3:30pm.
