Alice Lloyd Eagles Track and Field Competes in Cedarville University Yellowjacket Collegiate Meet

Cedarville, OH: The Alice Lloyd College Eagles Outdoor Track and Field squad traveled to the Buckeye state on March 30th to compete in the competitive Yellowjacket Collegiate Outdoor Meet, hosted by NCAA DII opponent, Cedarville University. A total of 17 squads, consisting of NCAA and NAIA college and universities, took part in the action. On the day, ALC men would finish 12th out of the men's schools participating.

For the Pippa Passes posse, the team would earn 10 points. The big winner for the Eagles was Nicholas Chasteen, as the speedster finished 5th in the 100-meter dash, not very far off of first place. His time of 10.87 seconds earned 5 big points for the squad. In addition, he also finished 7th in the javelin throw. His toss of 40.5 meters was worth 3 points for the Eagles.

Also earning points was Andre Harless. In the 400-meter hurdles, he finished in 7th place with a time of 1:01.77. This was worth 2 points for the club.

Also giving their all for the team were Devon Hill, in both the 100- and 200-meter dash; Anthony Day, in the high jump and 400-meter dash; and Darren Griffin, in both the shotput and javelin; and Peyton Boblett, in both the shotput and javelin.
