In the same inning, a single from the hosts made that run right back (10-1), and they would inflict more damage in the next inning, aided by the Bluegrass club.
In the fourth, an error and three wild pitches handed SMC three final scores and the contest ended after five.
The Bluegrass girls would record just 4 hits on the day, with Mcdaniel accounting for half of those.
