Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles Soccer Travels to Pikeville
Pikeville, KY: On Tuesday, August 30th, the Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles journeyed to Pikeville to face the homestanding UPike Lady Bears (2-1) in soccer action. In a tough matchup, the hosts would take a 16-0 victory.
The Bears got out to a quick start as they would produce 4 scores in the opening 10 minutes of play. UPike kept the pace up as they continued to place the ball into the net. At intermission, the city squad would hold a solid 11-0 cushion.
In the second half, the Lady Eagles put up a good fight but the deficit was simply too great to overcome as the hosts pulled away for the 16-0 win.
