ALC Alumnus Mason Named New Track and Field Coach

Pippa Passes: Hunter Mason has been named as the new Men/ Women's Track and Field Coach at Alice Lloyd College. In addition to his coaching duties, he also serves the college in the office of campus safety.

Mason graduated from Alice Lloyd College in 2023 where he served as a 4-year member of the Eagles Track and Field team. Before that, he attended high school at Oak Ridge Christian Academy in Morgantown (KY) where he was a 2019 graduate and student-athlete as well.

When asked about his team expectations with the new position, Mason stated, "My expectations for this year are very high. We have several athletes that have already made it to NCCAA nationals in the past and I'm looking for their numbers to only get better this season. We also had a few athletes who just missed the mark for nationals, and they look promising to qualify this year."

Mason is excited to get started and is looking forward to the new season and beyond. "I am looking forward to seeing the student-athletes I currently have thrive and grow every day. I am also looking forward to the opportunity to try and build this program into the contender I know it has can become."
