Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles Track and Field Competes in Challenging Berea College Mountaineer Open

Berea, KY: The Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles Outdoor Track and Field squad traveled to central Kentucky on March 23rd and opened the spring season by participating in the competitive Berea College Mountaineer Open, hosted by NCAA DIII opponent, Berea College.

A total of 8 schools from NCAA DIII, and NAIA squads were represented in the competition.

Below are the competitors for the Pippa Passes squad with individual results for each athlete;

Females

Aubree Laster-Freshman (first time competing at a meet)

100 meter-11^th place with a time of 14.55 seconds

200 meter-11^th place with a time of 30.54 seconds

Kaitlynn Ratliff-Junior

1500 meter-4^th place with a time of 5:49.50 (PR)

Taylor Caldwell-Junior

Shotput-7^th place with a mark of 8.36 meters

Discus-9^th place with a mark of 23.12 meters

Javelin-3^rd place with a mark of 24.86 meters (PR)
