Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles Track and Field Competes in Cedarville University Yellowjacket Collegiate Meet
Cedarville, OH: The Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles Outdoor Track and Field squad traveled to the Buckeye state on March 30th to compete in the competitive Yellowjacket Collegiate Outdoor Meet, hosted by NCAA DII opponent Cedarville University. A total of 17 squads, consisting of NCAA and NAIA colleges and universities, participated in the action. On the day, ALC would finish 14th out of the women's schools participating.
For the Pippa Passes posse, the team would earn 1 point. That was provided by Taylor Caldwell, who finished 8th in the javelin throw with a toss of 27.12 meters.
In addition, Aubree Laster competed in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dash; Kaitlynn Ratliff ran the 1500-meter; and Kirsten Cole-Williamson competed in the shotput. Each of these Lady Eagles gave a good account of themselves as well.
