Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles Track and Field Competes in Brescia Bearcat Invitational

Owensboro, KY: The Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles Outdoor Track and Field squad traveled to the western end of Kentucky on April 6th to compete in the competitive Bearcat Invitational Meet hosted by Brescia University. A total of 5 NAIA squads took part in the action. On the day, ALC women would finish 5th out of the women's schools participating, but the Pippa Passes posse would earn a season-high 7 points as a team.

Kaitlynn Ratliff ran the 1500-meter run and crossed the line in 5:36.66. This was good for 5th place and earned 4 team points. She also participated in the 5000-meter run and gave a good effort in that event.

Taylor Caldwell finished 7th in the shot put, as her throw of 29'5.5" positioned her in 7th place and earned 2 points. She also put a solid effort into the discus toss.

Kirsten Cole-Williamson competed in the shotput and hit a distance of 29'0.5, earning her a top-ten finish and 1 team point.

Aubree Laster also competed in the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes and gave a good account of herself.
