Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles Track and Field Competes in challenging Gordon Bocock Cumberlands Invitational and Distance Carnival
Williamsburg, KY: The Alice Lloyd College Eagles Outdoor Track and Field squad traveled to Williamsburg Kentucky on April 12th -13th to compete in the competitive Gordon Bocock Cumberlands Invitational and Distance Carnival. For this event, team scores were not kept.
Riley Schreck, making her first appearance of the season after completing basketball, finished 2nd in the javelin with a big toss of 31.64m.
Kaitlynn Ratliff ran the 1500-meter, and crossed the line in a time of 5:36.97. This was good for 7th place.
Taylor Caldwell finished 4th in the javelin, with a throw of 27.28m. Additionally, she finished 9th in the shotput at 9.38m and 11th in the discus toss at 21.47m.
Kirsten Cole-Williamson competed in the shotput and hit a distance of 9.53m which earned her a 8th place finish.
