Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles Track and Field competes in River States Conference Tournament
Pittsburg, PA: The Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles Outdoor Track and Field squad traveled to Pittsburg, Pennsylvania on April 25th-26th to compete in the River States Conference. The event was held at the 3PR Track and Field Complex at RMU Island Sports Center.
After the last event had been conducted, the Bluegrass ladies would finish in 12th place out of 12 participating twelve colleges.
For the Caney Creek crew, the big event for the Lady Eagles was the javelin toss. In that, Riley Schreck hit a PR with an impressive 34.03 toss. This would place her in fourth place and earn five points for the team.
Taylor Caldwell followed Schreck in the javelin and hit a PR record of 32-11m. This would place her in fifth place and be worth five points for the squad.
Caldwell also competed in the shot put, finishing ninth with a throw of 9.57 m. (31-05 feet.)
Kirsten Cole-Williamson finished in 13th position in the javelin toss at 8.58m.
Aubree Laster competed in the 100-meter dash, finishing in a time of 14.37 m to earn 17th place. She also competed in the 200 m run, finishing in 20th place with her time of 30.73.
Kaitlynn Ratliff also participated in the 1500-meter run, finishing in 20th position with a time of 5:57.69 seconds.
