Alice Lloyd Volleyball plays at # 11 Indiana Kokomo

Kokomo, IN: The Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles volleyball team traveled to the Hoosier State on Friday, October 11th, to face the NAIA's 11th ranked squad, the Indiana Kokomo Cougars (20-4; 7-0 RSC) in River States Conference play. The highly-regarded hosts would take the match, 11-0.

In the opener, the home team grabbed a 16-10 lead and then closed out the game on a 9-1 run to take the contest, 25-11.

Game 2 saw the Cougars explode out of the gate with a big run and they cruised all the way to the finish line to earn the 25-11 win. 

Game 3, saw the Lady Eagles battle hard against the powerful Indiana club as they would stay within striking distance, as they only trailed, 19-16. Unfortunately, IUK would show why they had earned such a lofty ranking by closing the game with a  6-1 spurt to seal the match, 25-17.

ALC's Tianna Wesley and Jadyn Hall led with 5 kills apiece while Rose Scotello handed out 9 assists. TK Ellis and Gracie Gibson paced the squad in digs with 9 and 7 respectively.
