The Game 1 opener saw a nailbiter as the two combatants battled point-for-point. Unfortunately, with the contest tied at 25-25, Brescia scored on their final two possessions to win, 27-25.
In Game 2, the Owensboro club had all they could handle once again as the Pippa Passes crew slowly pulled out to a 16-11 advantage. Disappointingly, the Bearcats would regroup and close with a big run to overtake the home club and win, 25-20.
Game 3 saw Brescia determined to end things as they exploded out of the gate with 7 quick points. From there, they would maintain their advantage on the way to a match-clinching, 25-15 victory.
On the day for ALC (6-20; 0-11 RSC), Kyleah Ward led the club with 8 kills, while Rose Scotello paved the way in assists with 13.
