Alice Lloyd Volleyball faces Oakland City University
Pippa Passes, KY: The Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles volleyball team returned home on Saturday, October 26th, to face the Oakland City University Mighty Oaks (8-17; 3-9 RSC) in a River States Conference matchup. The Eagles put up a fight before eventually succumbing in straight sets.

The Game 1 opener saw the Indiana squad come loaded for bear and jump out to a quick lead. They would then keep the pressure on until the final spike gave them a 25-10 win.
In Game 2, the Pippa Passes ladies gave a solid effort as they battled tooth-and-nail in search of the win. However, the Mighty Oaks would manage to make a few crucial plays in the clutch to pull ahead and take the game, 25-21.
Game 3 saw another barn burner as the Eagles grabbed the early lead and battled furiously to maintain it. Unfortunately, with the contest knotted at 20-20, OCU came through when they needed it down the stretch to squeak out the 25-22 victory, and seal the match.
On the day for ALC (6-21; 0-12 RSC) Tianna Wesley (5), Kyleah Ward (4) and Jadyn Hall (4) provided the kills, while Taylor Cox delivered 18 assists.
In addition, Christa Amburgey delivered the lone service ace and Gracie Gibson came through with 17 kills.
The squad returns to action Tuesday, October 29th when they travel to Midway University for a 7:00pm match.
